El Equipo

Adele Priestley

Our Team

Adele Priestley

Founder - Yoga Instructor (Hatha Yoga)

Adele is a native Vermonter (USA) who has been calling Ensenada, Chile home for the past 6 years. As a ski racer and a whitewater kayaker, she first began to practice yoga as a way to balance her body and counter the physical toll of such demanding sports. Over time, she was surprised to find that what had started as a physical practice became an important mental one as well. Through yoga she learned to respect her limits, she became more in tune with her body, and came to cherish the time to breathe and simply be.

After being approached by friends and teammates for advice with injuries, pain, mental exhaustion from sports, she decided to go to India to study for her teacher certification. She spent time in Rishikesh, India, studying Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga, and earning her Yoga Alliance Certified 200-hour training at Shiva Yoga Peeth.

She returned to Ensenada, Chile and began to offer classes in borrowed spaces with the help and generosity of the local community. Over the past year, she was able to expand Lelikelen Yoga to it's own space, where she offers a variety of classes for locals and tourists. Lelikelen Yoga is the first yoga study in Ensenada, and seeing it grow through the combined efforts of Adele's passion and the support of the community has been an incredible and humbling experience for many.

Adele's specialty is working with athletes in cross-training, mental strengthening, and injury prevention. She holds several additional certifications in Yoga Anatomy training.

Natalia Santa Cruz

Yoga Instructor (Yoga Integral)

Natalia began to practice yoga 8 years ago suffering a hip injury provoked by her studies in dance pedagogy. In yoga she found a completely different discipline... a discipline that didn't have a place for competition and overexertion. Yoga helped her learn to listen to her body, to take care of it, and to respect it - as well as to leave behind ego and frustration, and to heal the emotional toll that had been taken.

In 2016 she decided to study and further her knowledge in order to share her practice with others. She completed her teacher training in "Yoga Integral" with a minor in ayurvedic medicine at the School of Yoga Simran Kaur in Santiago. Throughout her years of practice she has taken classes in Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini and Ashtanga. After finishing her certification, she came to live in the South of Chile, first in Puerto Varas, and now in Ensenada.
