Mindful Athlete Yoga Retreat
As an athlete, you need to have a good relationship with your body. You need to learn its limits, how each part connects to the whole, and how to push it to its maximum potential is a safe and beneficial way. But no matter how strong one's body is, it doesn't mean much without a strong mind and breath.
A yoga practice is an incredible compliment to the sports and activities that you already do and love. During this retreat we'll use a physical yoga practice help you balance our your weaknesses and strengths, protect your joints, and strengthen at a much deeper level. We'll pay special attention to yoga anatomy, injury prevention, and recovery of fatigued or overused muscle groups. You'll also push yourself mentally, and we'll work on breath quality and control.
Develop joint stability, physical, mental, and emotional strength, and balance. Make a commitment to protect your body now so that you can continue doing the sports that you love in the future.
Ensenada, Chile rests between two volcanoes, and the energy that can be felt here isn't found just anywhere. It's the perfect spot to escape to and simply breathe.

5 nights private lodging in the Flora Y Fauna Hostel, a private hostel located directly on the beach, and with spectacular views of the Osorno Volcano. Private rooms with private or shared bathroom options, free wifi, and a rustic on-site hottub. The hostel was recently built, and features rustic and elegant decor, brand new appliances, and beautiful common spaces for sharing and meal times. Free parking on site, as well as bike and SUP rental options.
If you would prefer a more private option, choose to stay in an apartment. Also recently renovated, and on the same beach-side property, you’ll have access to all of the same amenities.
ALL MEALS ARE INCLUDED
Unlimited daily detox tea, fresh juices, and healthy snacks.
We use fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and provide healthy, balanced, and organic meal options. Most of our meal options are vegetarian, but if you have any other dietary restrictions please let us know, and we are happy to work with you!
DAILY YOGA CLASSES
All teachers are Yoga Alliance certified. We offer a range of hatha, hatha vinyasa, and gentle yoga classes. Based on the daily schedule, we may practice our yoga class or meditation in the outdoors.
1 EXTRA ACTIVITY/WORKSHOP
Choose between several options. Including but not limited to: yoga anatomy workshop, natural higiene product workshop, sports psychology (& meditation techniques), Chilean cuisine cooking class, etc.
PERSONAL CONSULTATION WITH YOUR TEACHERS
Begin your trip with a chat with your yoga teacher. Ask questions, define your goals, and let your teachers know about any injuries you have or anything specific that you are working toward.
PRIVATE SESSION WITH CERTIFIED KINESTHESIOLOGIST
Get personalized advice and exercises from a professional on to recover from and/or prevent injuries.
1 MASSAGE & RUSTIC SPA AFTERNOON
Relax with a personal massage, and spend an afternoon at Aremko's rustic hot springs and outdoor hot tub.
We provide transportation to and from the airport in Puerto Montt. All daily transport to and from activities is also included.
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED?
You are responsible for getting yourself to Puerto Montt or Puerto Varas for the first day of the retreat. If you would like advice on flights or ways to arrive, we are happy to help!
LODGING BEFORE OR AFTER THE RETREAT DAYS
If you would like to arrive early or stay late, we can help you find accommodation.
ALCOHOL & EXTRA SNACKS OR FOOD
We will provide you will three healthy and filling meals daily. We will work with you to make sure that you always have meal options to fit any dietary restrictions that you may have. You will also have unlimited access to tea and juices. What you eat and drink on the side is up to you, but we strongly recommend taking advantage of the opportunity to detox and eat clean!
